Job summary

National Security Agency (NSA) seeks multilingual analysts to support SIGINT operations. MDLAs analyze, transcribe, translate, and produce insightful reports for policymakers and leadership.

Opportunities include LADP or direct hire with opportunities for tours across mission offices. A degree or relevant experience in intelligence or related fields is required, with a focus on strong Chinese language skills and analytic capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR level 2/2 reading and listening in target language.
• Any field degree acceptable; years of relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Experience in language work or analytic fields relevant to NSA SIGINT/Cybersecurity mission.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials.
• Research cultures and geopolitical contexts to inform analytic assessments.
• Develop and apply analytic techniques to synthesize large data sets.
• Craft written and oral assessments for policymakers and leadership.
• Lead, mentor, or coach other Language Analysts where applicable.
