Job summary

National Security Agency (NSA) seeks Linguists as Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) to support SIGINT missions. Depending on skill, candidates may join the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or be hired directly into analytic offices.

LADP lasts up to three years with rotations and training; LADP does not teach a language, so reflect your language experience in your resume. A degree is required and ILR level 2/2 in reading/listening for the target language is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree required; language experience in translation, transcription, or analysis.
• ILR level 2/2 reading/listening in target language required.
• LADP offers training and rotations; direct hire possible for analytic roles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze foreign language materials, transcribe, translate, and craft assessments.
• Collaborate with partners across the IC and NSA offices.
• Mentor and lead other Language Analysts; ensure technical health of the mission.
