Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior change management and transformation strategist in Washington, DC. You will lead broad change initiatives, engage C-suite stakeholders, and guide cross-functional teams across multiple client projects.

Responsibilities include driving people-focused change, governance, budgeting, and KPI tracking while mentoring staff and expanding marketplace offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10 years of experience in communications, including leading the people side of major business transformations.
• Prosci® Change Management Certification (preferred).
• Trusted advisor to clients at the seniormost levels.
• Proven project management skills with client relationships and deadlines.
• People/team management experience.
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to clients and FTI offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead change management, leader enablement, and employee engagement programs supporting integration and transformation.
• Apply a human-centric approach focused on communication, training, leader enablement, and feedback loops.
• Serve as a senior strategist for C-suite management, Boards, and other advisors.
• Manage multiple clients and direct and coach teams of varying experience levels.
• Ensure projects remain on schedule and on budget.
• Lead client mandates as strategist, counselor, and implementer.
• Serve as day-to-day client lead and represent the team in client meetings, video calls, and client sites.
• Present to C-suite executives and keep stakeholders engaged throughout projects.
• Develop and execute communication strategies for planned changes.
• Develop change management strategies to build capability, accelerate progress, mitigate resistance, and address feedback.
• Track program KPIs and adapt strategies to keep projects on time and on budget.
• Coordinate work across multiple teams.
• Develop and manage client budgets and oversee billing.
• Anticipate client needs and address concerns with senior leaders.
• Build referral sources and develop client relationships.
• Originate, win, and expand engagements.
• Lead development of new marketplace offerings.
• Participate in People & Transformation senior leadership and talent development.
• Serve as a change management and employee engagement subject matter expert.
• Mentor, train, and coach team members.
• Participate in firm initiatives supporting culture and brand.

Requirements

• Prosci® or similar change management certification (preferred)
