This Managing Director role involves managing client assignments, networking, and business development activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attracting and securing new business opportunities in expert witness and strategic consulting
• Contributing to the growth of the Mechanical Engineering practice by recruiting talented staff
• Mentoring staff and fostering growth within the team
• Providing project management and overseeing budgets

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven track record in business development and existing client relationships
• Professional degrees and approximately 10 years of relevant experience:
• PhD or MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, with experience in experimental or solid mechanics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous testimony in depositions, trials, arbitration, or hearings
• Strong report writing and analytical skills
• Excellent listening, verbal, written, technical, and presentation skills
• Leadership desire and ability to support a growing practice
• Willingness to travel as needed
