Technical Accounting and External Reporting Manager - Virtual

This role offers an opportunity to lead complex technical accounting challenges, oversee SEC filings, and support global accounting policies within a growth-oriented environment. The position involves managing quarterly and annual SEC filings, preparing financial statements, researching accounting issues, and ensuring compliance with SOX 404.

Responsibilities include:

1. Manage the preparation and review of SEC filings (Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) and oversee XBRL tagging.
2. Prepare financial statements, including cash flow statements.
3. Research complex accounting issues, prepare technical memos, review valuation reports, and implement new accounting guidance.
4. Facilitate review processes with legal counsel, auditors, and stakeholders.
5. Support areas such as Equity, Revenue Recognition, Leases, Hedges, Derivatives, and Debt Accounting.
6. Assist in month-end and quarter-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
7. Review compliance certificates for lenders.
8. Analyze client contracts under ASC 606.
9. Ensure responsibilities are executed in compliance with SOX 404.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA certification required.
• Strong passion for financial reporting and technical accounting research.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
