Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Managing Director for our Financial Advisory Services, Office of the CFO practice. This leadership role focuses on FP&A and finance transformation, partnering with CFOs, private equity sponsors, and executive teams to design, build, and operate high-impact finance functions to enable better decision-making.

As a Managing Director, you will lead complex engagements, help define and scale FP&A capabilities, and work across advisory, tax, audit, and consulting to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10-15+ years of relevant experience, ideally with mix of Big 4/national firm and corporate FP&A.
• CPA, CMA, CFA or similar credentials strongly preferred.
• Experience leading FP&A build-outs, finance transformation, and value creation initiatives.
• Familiarity with private equity environments, liquidity, and cash management.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex FP&A & finance transformation engagements for CFOs and PE-backed firms.
• Build and scale Baker Tilly's FP&A capabilities within Office of the CFO.
• Drive business development, proposals, pricing, and market-facing content.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated finance solutions.
• Provide senior-level mentoring and guidance to team members.
