Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Managing Director who will lead our direct commercial and industrial client development, driving the firm’s organic sales effort and the team behind it. This player-coach role advises key C&I clients while recruiting, coaching, and guiding the advisors who carry our approach to market.

Qualifications

• 10+ years sales experience including 3+ years leading a team
• 5+ years in B2B energy procurement and advisory
• Track record of building and leading a direct-sales/client-development team
• Strong advisory instincts; earns trust with sophisticated buyers
• Mature, patient leadership with ownership and sound judgment
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Lead direct C&I client development: drive organic sales and outcomes.
• Provide personal counsel to a book of C&I clients and set standards for trust.
• Recruit, coach, and lead a team of direct-sales advisors.
• Maintain discipline for process, pipeline, and follow-through to scale quality advice.
• Partner with Marketing to extend market perspective to C&I organizations.
• Stay ahead of energy-market dynamics to reflect future directions.
