Seven Logik is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a bilingual (English/Spanish), multi-practice law firm seeking a Managing Attorney to lead its growing Houston office.

Our client's practice areas include personal injury, workers' compensation, immigration, labor & employment, civil litigation, family law, criminal defense, and bankruptcy.

The Role:

We are looking for a hands-on Managing Attorney who can oversee the Houston office's legal operations, manage multiple practice areas, supervise attorneys and support staff, and ensure cases are handled efficiently and effectively.

The attorney will be responsible for approximately 400 active cases across multiple departments, with support from the firm's legal team.

This is a leadership position with a guaranteed annual compensation of $300,000 and additional profit-sharing opportunities tied to the Houston office's performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day legal operations of the Houston office.
• Manage cases involving Immigration, Personal Injury (auto accidents/PIP), and Labor & Employment.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
• Develop and oversee case strategies, deadlines, filings, settlements, and court appearances.
• Ensure proper client communication, documentation, and compliance with Texas legal and ethical requirements.
• Monitor office performance, case progress, collections, expenses, and profitability.Coordinate with the Miami headquarters regarding policies, operations, and case-management systems.
• Provide weekly reports to firm leadership on caseloads, results, and office performance.
• Maintain a target of 2,000 billable hours annually.

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Bar license in good standing — required.
• Minimum 5 years of legal experience.
• Strong experience in Immigration and Personal Injury.
• Proven experience managing a high-volume caseload and leading a legal team.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, both written and spoken — required.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and client communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple legal departments and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to work full-time, on-site in Houston.
