Job summary

SUPPLY NETWORK INC is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse operations across receiving, shipping, inventory, and material handling. You will supervise the warehouse team, drive accuracy and on-time order fulfillment, and coordinate with Customer Service and Fabrication to meet delivery timelines.

The role requires 5+ years in warehouse or distribution, with 3+ years in leadership. Strong communication and DOT compliance knowledge are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations: receiving, shipping, inventory, material handling.
• Supervise and develop warehouse staff with clear expectations.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
• Audit incoming/outgoing shipments for inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with Customer Service and Fabrication to support orders/delivery timelines.
• Manage freight, deliveries, and transportation logistics including drivers.
• Oversee transportation activities: dispatching, routing, tracking shipments.
• Hire/train drivers; manage schedules and workload.
• Ensure DOT compliance, safety standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs for fleet reliability.
• Maintain warehouse organization, safety, and housekeeping.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot shipping/receiving issues and resolve root causes.
• Manage warehouse supplies and equipment; address minor facility needs.
• Implement continuous improvements (5S, process improvements).
• Plan staffing, scheduling, overtime to meet demand.
