Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is hiring a Manager Trainee in North Kingstown, RI. The role focuses on steering location performance, developing leadership skills, and preparing for a Branch Manager promotion within 12–18 months.

Starting pay is $38,480 per year or $18.50 per hour, with flexible scheduling in a fast-paced environment. You will support sales goals, customer experience, and fleet operations while learning finance processes and reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Support achievement of location sales goals.
• Deliver excellent customer experience to contribute to high customer service scores.
• Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
• Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
• Assist with store operations and compliance.
• Support team with miscellaneous tasks including cleaning and preparing vehicles for customers, lot management, and customer service assistance.
• Learn finance processes and support deal completion.
• Understand reporting, documentation, and business metrics.
• Shadow and support management in daily operations.
• Build skills in team leadership, scheduling, and performance coaching.
• Prepare for future leadership roles through structured training.
• Learn how role contributes to/impacts the overall financial wellbeing of the company.
