Hertz Local Edition in East Providence, RI is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in 12-18 months. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn all aspects of our business.

The starting wage for this position is $17.00 per hour or $35,360/yr + Performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated and eager to grow.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support achievement of location sales goals.
• Deliver excellent customer experience to contribute to high customer service scores.
• Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
• Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
• Assist with store operations and compliance.
• Learn finance processes and support deal completion.
• Shadow and support management in daily operations.
• Build skills in team leadership, scheduling and coaching.
