Job summary

Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance and develop leadership skills. The program prepares for promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months and offers structured training in sales, operations, and finance.

The starting wage for this position is $38,480 per year or $18.50 per hour, with benefits including PTO, healthcare options, and retirement programs. You’ll gain hands-on fleet management experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support achievement of location sales goals.
• Deliver excellent customer experience to contribute to high customer service scores.
• Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
• Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
• Assist with store operations and compliance.
• Support team with vehicle preparation and lot management.
• Learn finance processes and support deal completion.
• Shadow and support management in daily operations.
