Job summary

Hertz Local Edition (HLE) in California is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance and develop leadership skills. This program prepares you for promotion to Branch Manager in as little as 12–18 months, with hands-on experience across sales, operations, fleet management, and finance processes.

You will learn CRM best practices, shadow leadership, and contribute to achieving location goals while gaining exposure to daily hotel/retail operations and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service to support location sales goals.
• Deliver excellent customer experience to contribute to high customer service scores.
• Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
• Gains hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
• Assist with store operations and compliance.
• Learn finance processes and support deal completion.
• Shadow and support management in daily operations.
• Build skills in team leadership, scheduling, and performance coaching.
