Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months. The role offers hands-on experience across sales, operations, fleet management, and administration in Pleasanton, CA.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: support location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experience.
• Operations & Fleet Management: gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
• Vehicle and Facility Care: assist with cleaning, lot management, and customer service.
• Finance & Administration: learn finance processes and assist deal completion.
• Leadership Development: shadow management and develop team leadership skills.
• Compliance & reporting: learn reporting, documentation, and business metrics.
