Job summary

Hertz Local Edition (HLE) in Buena Park, CA seeks a Manager Trainee to grow leadership skills and drive location performance. You’ll learn every aspect of our business while working in a fast-paced environment and supporting sales, operations, and fleet tasks.

The program prepares you for eventual promotion to Branch Manager within 12–18 months, with structured training and real responsibility from day one.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support achievement of location sales goals and deliver excellent customer service.
• Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control; assist with store operations.
• Help with vehicle prep, lot management, and service tasks.
• Learn finance processes and support deal completion; understand reporting and metrics.
• Shadow and support management to build leadership and scheduling skills.
