Job summary

Hertz Local Edition in Fort Worth is seeking a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager within 12–18 months. You’ll rotate through Sales, Operations, Finance, and Leadership Development, learning fleet management, customer service, and business metrics while supported by structured training and mentorship.

Starting wage is $31,200 per year or $15 per hour, with benefits including PTO, health plans, and retirement

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support achievement of location sales goals.
• Deliver excellent customer experience to maintain high service scores.
• Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
• Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
• Assist with store operations and compliance.
• Support team with vehicle preparation, lot management and service.
• Learn finance processes and support deal completion.
• Understand reporting, documentation, and business metrics.
• Shadow and support management, build leadership and scheduling skills.
