The Manager in Training (MIT) position is a short-term transitional role that offers work assignments and training to prepare MITs for promotion into Retail/Commercial Store Management positions. Typically, progression to management occurs within approximately 8-12 weeks, depending on prior experience and performance.

Responsibilities

• Live The Pledge, deliver WOW! Customer Service, and drive store performance as a management team member.
• Support overall store operations including management, supervision, and policy implementation.
• Manage financials, analyze, and reconcile monthly P&L statements.
• Handle employee staffing, training, and development.
• Oversee inventory management and customer service.

MITs are responsible for completing training and demonstrating progress to remain in the program and be considered for management roles.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of retail management or supervisory experience.
• Flexible full-time schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Automotive experience and financial analysis skills are preferred but not mandatory.
