Job summary

Menards in Batavia, IL is seeking motivated individuals for its Manager Trainee program. This paid, full-time training path develops future leaders by pairing trainees with General Managers and Department Managers to learn every aspect of store operations.

As you advance through the program, you will gain hands-on experience in retail management, with the goal of securing a management role across Menards’ 330+ stores and support facilities.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills demonstrated in retail or service environments.
• Ability to coach and develop a team for higher performance.
• Clear communication and interpersonal abilities for store leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a paid, full-time Manager Trainee program to build management skills.
• Work with General Managers and Department Managers to learn operations and leadership.
• Progress through the program with the goal of moving into a management role at a Menards location.
