Position Purpose

In this role, you will be a key member of the Regulatory Reporting Group, assisting in managing the department's day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

1. Review and file quarterly and annual NAIC filings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
2. Collaborate with internal partners and external auditors for legal entity external audits.
3. Approve staff journal entries to the general ledger.
4. Participate in state DOI exams and respond to analyst questions.
5. Mentor staff and promote skill development.
6. Participate in statutory training sessions.
7. Assist with department projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, other spreadsheet applications, and accounting software.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, supervising staff, and leading large projects.
• Statutory reporting experience is strongly preferred.
• Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.

Additional Information

Salary Range: $86,000 - $154,700 per year.
