Position Purpose In this role you will be a key member of the Regulatory Reporting Group who will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the department
- Review and file staff prepared quarterly and annual NAIC filings, ensuring compliance with NAIC and other regulatory requirements
- Work closely with internal partners and external auditors to complete legal entity external audits
- Approve staff journal entries to the general ledger
- Participate on state DOI exams and respond to DOI/NAIC analyst questions
- Mentor staff and encourage further development of their skillsets
- Participate in Statutory training sessions for staff
- Assist on department projects as needed
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, related field or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of related accounting experience.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, other spreadsheet applications and accounting software applications.
- Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff.
- Statutory Reporting experience strongly preferred
- Healthcare experience strongly preferred
Pay Range $86,000.00 - $154,700.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
