Position Purpose In this role you will be a key member of the Regulatory Reporting Group who will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the department

• Review and file staff prepared quarterly and annual NAIC filings, ensuring compliance with NAIC and other regulatory requirements
• Work closely with internal partners and external auditors to complete legal entity external audits
• Approve staff journal entries to the general ledger
• Participate on state DOI exams and respond to DOI/NAIC analyst questions
• Mentor staff and encourage further development of their skillsets
• Participate in Statutory training sessions for staff
• Assist on department projects as needed
  
  

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of related accounting experience.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, other spreadsheet applications and accounting software applications.
• Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff.
• Statutory Reporting experience strongly preferred
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred
  
  

Pay Range $86,000.00 - $154,700.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
