Job summary

Allison Transmission in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Manager, Service Tools and Systems to ensure the service channel has up-to-date electronic tool software and essential tools for repair and service of all products.

You will lead the Calibration Support Service Engineer, manage tool suppliers, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, IS&S, and Legal to deliver reliable tools and maximize tool availability for dealers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• MBA preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office Suite is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand evolving business and technical needs of the service ecosystem.
• Manage electronic and essential tool suppliers including daily management, reviews, and negotiations.
• Assure software change requests are created to define tool deliverables.
