Allison Transmission in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to oversee the manufacturing process, monitor metrics, and drive improvements across production lines. You will develop process documentation, evaluate new machinery, and lead capital projects while supporting plant operations with technical guidance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 7–10 years of manufacturing experience, CAD proficiency (NX/AutoCAD), and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 7–10 years of manufacturing experience with strong analytical abilities.
• CAD proficiency (NX and/or AutoCAD) and moderate to advanced MS Office skills.
• Experience with measuring and improving manufacturing processes, and leading capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve manufacturing systems focusing on quality and throughput.
• Develop process documentation: route sheets, PFMEAs, process flows, and error-proofing plans.
• Lead evaluation and implementation of new machinery and equipment; support plant operations with technical guidance.
• Develop cost estimates for major programs and capital projects; lead cross-functional teams.
