Job summary

QXO is a leading distributor and installer of building products, seeking a proactive Sales Leader to guide an Outside Sales team. You will drive growth, coach reps, and collaborate on budgets, pricing, and territory design to accelerate margin performance.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree with leadership experience in sales, plus operational exposure in building materials or related fields. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of leadership experience in sales.
• Operational experience preferred in building materials/construction or related industry.
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong business acumen and ability to contribute strategically at the leadership table.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Outside Sales Representatives to drive growth and meet sales/margin budgets.
• Collaborate with Regional and District leadership to design sales budgets, pricing strategies, and territory design.
• Promote a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
• Support Outside Sales Representatives in building strong relationships with key accounts.
• Lead field execution of sales campaigns and product launches.
• Maintain communication with Branch, Regional, and Executive Leadership to align goals and drive results.
• Build market intelligence through local industry associations, events, and vendor relationships.
• Leverage sales data to inform business decisions and strategy.
• Champion a safety-oriented culture and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

What you'll bring:
