Job summary

Centuri Group is seeking a Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality (SHEQ) Manager to oversee safety and quality programs within a designated operating area. You will lead the local SHEQ team, champion Linetec and customer safety and quality procedures, and report to senior leadership.

As a Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality (SHEQ) Manager you will oversee the Safety and Quality program implementation within designated operating area. You will be a leader of the local Safety & Quality team and is an advocate of Linetec and customer safety and quality procedures. You will report to the Vice President of Safety & Quality. You will report to the Director of Safety & Quality.

What You'll Do

• Help with preparation and implementation of safety related programs
• Manage safety, quality, auditing, and training programs

• Define goals aligned with our goals and safety department vision
• Stay informed on industry topics to create direction of the department
• Be our Safety Representative with customers and within the industry
• Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership

What You'll Have

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Board of Certified Safety Professionals certification
• 5 years experience in safety, quality, or regulatory compliance for distribution/transmission power, construction or related industries
• 2 years experience leading a team
• In-depth knowledge of distribution and transmission electrical construction
• Experience presenting safety materials in a manner that is clear and understood by the audience
• Experience motivating and encouraging development and continuous improvement of a Safety culture
• Experience establishing department goals
• Experience coaching and evaluate performance of staff
