Responsibilities include:

1. Administering, analyzing, and appraising patient care within the designated Nursing Unit.
2. Advising hospital management on patient care status, budgetary projections, and quality improvement processes.
3. Anticipating and estimating future departmental needs to enhance patient care quality.
4. Serving as a resource for staff and assisting in education to promote clinical competence.
5. Collaborating with staff to fulfill the mission of The Woman’s Hospital of Texas.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of recent (within the last year) acute care L&D leadership experience.
• Current RN license in Texas.
• BCLS certification and Medication Learning Module.
• NRP certification within six months of hire.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification within six months of hire.
• Additional certifications: ACLS, TX Room, PACU, ICU, HS, L&D, OR.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
