Manager RN – Labor and Delivery | Full-Time | Houston, TX
Shift: Nights (No Weekends)

• Hourly Pay Range: $45.00/hr – $58.00/hr (based on experience)
• Sign-On Bonus: Case by case
• Relocation Assistance: Case by case

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and confident RN Manager to lead a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically strong nurse leader ready to make a difference in women’s health. You’ll guide a team in one of the busiest L&D units in Texas, overseeing care coordination, staff development, patient safety, and operational excellence.

This leadership role requires a sharp clinical mind, exceptional team-building skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting where more than 800 babies are delivered monthly.

What You’ll Do - Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations for the Labor & Delivery unit
• Support and coach nursing staff while driving accountability and engagement
• Lead quality initiatives and process improvements for maternal outcomes
• Collaborate with directors, physicians, and support services for effective care delivery
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
• Monitor budget, staffing, and unit performance metrics
• Serve as clinical resource and role model to bedside nurses

Requirements

• Active RN license in Texas
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
• 3–5 years of recent acute care L&D leadership experience required
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (within 6 months of hire)
• BLS and NRP required (NRP within 6 months of hire)
• ACLS preferred
