Job Summary and Qualifications

• Administer, analyze, and appraise patient care within the designated Nursing Unit.
• Advise hospital management on patient care status, budgetary projections, and quality improvement processes.
• Estimate future departmental needs to enhance patient care quality.
• Serve as a resource for staff, assisting with education to promote clinical competence.
• Coordinate staff efforts to fulfill the mission of The Woman’s Hospital of Texas.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of recent (within the last year) acute care L&D leadership experience.
• Current RN license in Texas.
• BCLS certification, Medication Learning Module.
• NRP certification within six months of hire.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification within six months of hire.
• ACLS, TX Room, PACU, ICU, HS, L&D, OR certifications.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
