Job Summary and Qualifications

• Administer, analyze, and appraise patient care within the Nursing Unit.
• Advise hospital management on patient care, budget, and quality improvement.
• Forecast future departmental needs to enhance patient care quality.
• Serve as a resource and educator for nursing staff, promoting clinical competence.
• Coordinate staff efforts to fulfill the mission of The Woman’s Hospital of Texas.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years recent (within last year) Acute Care L&D leadership experience.
• Current RN license in Texas.
• BCLS certification, Medication Learning Module.
• NRP and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certifications within 6 months of hire.
• Additional certifications: ACLS, TX Room, PACU, ICU, HS, L&D, OR.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
