Job summary

The San Francisco 49ers are seeking a Manager, Public Events Ticketing to oversee ticketed event buildouts, sales, and day-of operations for non-NFL events at the stadium. You will coordinate with promoters and ticket providers, manage TM1/Archtics systems, and lead a team to ensure accurate inventory, pricing, and settlements.

Strong communication and project management across finance, StadOps, legal and analytics is essential; 5–7 years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience or equivalent education/experience mix.
  • Experience with Ticketmaster event programming and TM1 suite.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

  • Lead communications with event promoters and ticket providers for builds, pricing, inventory and VIP packages.
  • Collaborate with leadership to plan ticket scaling, pricing structures and settlements.
  • Manage ticketing programs and TM1/Archtics workflows, including parking and seat upgrades.
  • Support end-to-end ticket processes from planning to post-event reporting.
  • Oversee ticketing database, CRM and related operations.
  • Direct staff on multiple projects and optimize resource use.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on access control hardware/software.

The Manager, Public Events Ticketing manages ticketed event buildouts, sales, and event day operations for non-NFL events at the stadium. Additionally, the position touches on all aspects of ticket operations, including but not limited to invoicing and collections, ticket and order fulfillment, sales and service campaign support, customer service and correspondence, and event day ticket operations and services.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Leads and supports communications with event promoters and ticket providers on event builds, manifesting, pricing, inventory, VIP packages, holds, and all other needs. Builds strong relationships through proactive, professional, and timely communication.
  • Works collaboratively with department leadership to develop and execute strategic plans for ticket scaling, inventory allocation, pricing component structure, and financial settlement
  • Manages ticketed event build/programming and maintenance through Ticketmaster Host, TM1, Archtics and Account Manager, including secondary events such as parking, add-on, and seat upgrades
  • Provides ongoing overarching support of the event ticket process, from the planning stages through event day and post-event settlement and reporting.
  • Manages ticketing database, Archtics, and CRM solution to support necessary ticket sales, service, reporting and operations tasks.
  • Manages all aspects of TM1 Entry scanner programming and operations.
  • Leads full-time and part-time staff on various projects, initiatives and training sessions, working collaboratively with department leadership to optimize shared resources.
  • Manages seat relocation processing for Public Events.
  • Collaborates with internal finance, accounting, StadOps, legal, Business Stategy & Analytics, and service teams event ticketing
  • Serves as a day-to-day contact with the venue’s ticket partner (Ticketmatser) on event build, customer service and technical issues.
  • Assists on communications with internal stakeholders and vendors on all access control hardware and software.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Abilities and Skills:

  • Communicates orally and in writing in a clear, concise and impartial manner.
Education and Experience:
  • At least 5-7 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Ticketmaster event programming utilizing the Ticketmaster suite (Host &EMT Submission, Ticketmaster Scaling, Ticketmaster AccountManager, and Ticketmaster Archtics), and TM1 Events, Reports, and Entry
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
