Job summary

The PGA TOUR, Inc. is seeking a dynamic content creator who will partner with players, agents and internal teams to develop video, photo and graphic content that highlights player narratives and fans across social channels.

You will plan, develop and execute stories that elevate player brands and the PGA Tour, while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines. Responsibilities include shooting and editing, coordinating schedules, and delivering branded content tailored for platforms like

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Journalism, Video Production, Graphic Design, or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years of experience in content creation for digital platforms, with a strong portfolio of visual assets including video, photography, and graphic design.
  • Proficient in producing sponsored and branded content, with the ability to shoot and edit video that delivers measurable value for players and Tour sponsors.
  • Expertise in creating both live and edited video content tailored for platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for grammar, style, and tone appropriate for diverse audiences.
  • Deep understanding of the social media landscape, including content strategy, platform-specific best practices, performance metrics, and emerging trends.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with solid capabilities in video editing and photography.
  • Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to build relationships that support dynamic content development.
  • Strong interest in golf preferred
  • Available for on-call rotation outside of the production schedule and understand that flexibility in shift work might be required, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and nights.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of creative content initiatives for the PGA Tour players across social and digital channels.
  • Manage Player Creative videography, driving player targeting strategies and coordinating shooting schedules during tournament weeks.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with players, agents, and managers to support content creation efforts and player engagement.
  • Develop weekly plans with content teams, both on and off-site, to ensure consistent output and alignment with strategic goals per tournament week.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure proper distribution methods to player channels.
  • Shoot and edit videos, create and distribute graphics and other creative assets tailored for players’ platforms, often within tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to extend and personalize the PGA Tour brand across individual player channels while identifying and executing cross-functional content opportunities.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations for content across social and digital platforms, while staying informed on emerging trends and platform innovations.
  • Support content initiatives that provide added value to PGA Tour Official Marketing Partners and title sponsors through player-focused storytelling and distribution opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment by sharing ideas, supporting team initiatives, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide weekend tournament coverage to capture and deliver timely content opportunities for players and their channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to foster dynamic conversations between league/tournament accounts and player profiles.

The Best Players Need the Best People. This position partners with PGA Tour players, agents, and internal teams to create short and long form content that showcases player stories and engages fans. The role contributes to the planning, development, and execution of video, photo, and graphic content, helping bring creative ideas to life across player channels. Working closely with players and key stakeholders, this individual identifies content opportunities, supports creative projects, and helps deliver compelling storytelling that elevates both player brands and the PGA Tour.

QUALIFICATIONS
