Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice seeks a Billing Posting Specialist to post and balance all company payments in the billing system, ensuring timely, complete and accurate posting and assisting accountants with reconciliation. The role also administers the claims clearinghouse and enrollment for electronic remittance advice or EFT with non-Medicare payors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using 10-key, typing and clerical input.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• 2 years payment posting experience preferred.
• Experience reading remittance advices preferred.
• Excellent oral and written English communication.
• MS Office skills including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• In-office attendance is essential unless designated full-time remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor all payment posting by the cash application team.
• Write, define, and implement SOPs related to payment posting.
• Ensure procedures are followed appropriately.
• Serve as primary contact for payment posting and troubleshoot issues.
• Initiate and complete EFT enrollments with non-Medicare payors.
• Move EFTs for acquired companies to the company bank account.
• Manage enrollment in payor websites for authorization, eligibility, EOB retrieval, and EFT.
• Manage all clearinghouse website tasks including enrollments and claims/ERA.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Job description

Responsible for the posting and balancing of all payments that are received by the company. This position will ensure all applicable payments are posted to the billing system in a timely, complete and accurate manner andwill assist accountants with the reconciliation of payments deposited to those payments posted in the billingsystem. Serves as the administrator over the claims clearinghouse and for multiple websites used to obtain eligibility, authorizations, explanation of benefits, and to enroll for electronic remit advice or electronic funds transfer. Responsible for EFT enrollment with all non-Medicare payors.

Location: 6688 N. Central Expwy Dallas, TX 75206 Monday - Friday 8am-5 pm (CST)

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor all payment posting by the cash application team. Payment types may include EFT,live checks, and Medicare download.
• Write, define, and implement approved standard operating procedures related to payment posting.
• Ensure those procedures are followed appropriately.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for payment posting into the billing system and effectively troubleshootissues.
• Initiate and complete EFT enrollments with all non-Medicare payors.
• Ensure all EFT’s for acquired companies are moved from the acquisition’s bank account to companybank account.
• Manage enrollment in payor websites for authorization, eligibility, EOB retrieval, and EFT. This includesadding new companies and registering new users.
• Manage all administrative duties for clearinghouse website to include, but not limited to, adding newpayors, adding new companies, workorders, and creating and completing enrollment requests forclaims and ERA. Ensure proper information is being utilized by billing managers and other staff.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Required to have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Required demonstrated experience using computers for 10-key, typing, and clerical input.
• Highly preferred minimum one year of supervisory experience.
• Preferred minimum of two years payment posting experience.
• Preferred previous experience reading and interpreting remittance advices.
• Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening.
• Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially MS office, including word, powerpoint, and excel.
• Other than for designated full-time remote positions, in-office attendance is essential in order to achieve Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task completion, and other position objectives.
