Job summary

McLaren Health Care's 12 South Telemetry unit seeks an RN leader to oversee the administration of services and personnel on the assigned nursing unit. The role ensures the nursing care plan meets patients’ physiological and emotional needs while directing care through the team and management staff.

The position requires Michigan RN licensure, a BSN or enrollment in a BSN program, at least 3 years of related experience, 2 years of demonstrated leadership, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice nursing in Michigan.
• BSN or enrollment in BSN program to be completed within 2 years.
• Minimum of 3 years of job-related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years demonstrated leadership performance.
• BLS Certification.
• ACLS Certification.

Position Summary

Responsible for administration and management of services and personnel in the assigned nursing unit(s). Oversees the nursing plan of care for patients within the unit, ensuring that it meets the physiological and emotional needs of patients. Directs patient care through performance and/or leadership of patient care team members and patient care management staff. Assists in coordinating patient care through the appropriate utilization of all resources: staff, equipment, supplies, etc. Acts as an expert resource to both the medical center staff and physicians.

Required

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice nursing in Michigan
• BSN or enrollment in BSN program to be completed within 2 years
• Minimum of 3 years of job-related experience
