Job Description

Job Summary

Manages and oversees the Medical Economics Team activities and personnel. Provides technical expertise, manages relationships with operational leaders and staff, and directs assigned projects. Maintains work plans to meet trend reporting needs of the Marketplace (ACA Coverage) Team. Responsible for staff performance, coaching, development, and career growth.

• Manage Marketplace trend analytics daily
• Collaborate with the Marketplace team to address emerging trends and identify savings opportunities
• Distribute workload for new reporting and projects
• Mentor and support staff with analysis questions
• Review analyst work for accuracy and clarity
• Ensure best practices in formatting, documentation, and key findings
• Work with business owners to monitor performance indicators of medical interventions
• Represent Medical Economics in cross-departmental meetings
• Serve as liaison between Marketplace/shared services and Medical Economics for reporting and ad hoc requests
• Manage quarterly trend and performance review presentations

Maintain positive interactions with Marketplace and Medical Economics personnel.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Required Experience

• At least 3 years in management or team leadership
• 10+ years in medical economics or healthcare data environment
• Strong SQL, data manipulation, and advanced Excel skills
• Experience creating data visualizations for leadership
• Proven ability to present results, lead meetings, and engage stakeholders

Preferred Education

• Experience with ACA or Commercial health insurance products
• PowerPivot, Databricks, PowerBI

Pay Range: $101,721 - $165,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, education, and skills.
