Job summary

Otis Elevator is looking for a proactive Maintenance Operations Manager to lead field teams in the Miramar, FL area. You will oversee safety, service quality, and daily field activities, ensuring efficient resource use and strong customer satisfaction.

This role requires leadership and technical acumen with travel within the territory. You will report to the Service Sales manager and drive improvements in schedules, training, and communications, while guiding technicians and approving repair

Qualifications

• High school education required; BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience (at least 5 years).
• Experience working with a team of technicians is required.
• Leadership experience is required.
• Elevator industry experience is desired, but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and leadership skills, and the ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.
• Strong computer and technology skills, business acumen and a passion for customer service.
• Travel is required within your territory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure field employee safety and quality of service in your territory.
• Plan, organize, and manage service field activities to meet customer needs and company standards.
• Ensure effective allocation of resources such as manpower and materials.
• Conduct field education training with field workforce.
• Improve efficiencies, manage route schedules and callback rates.
• Understand how to provide technical support to field staff, self-provided or redirected to other experts.
• Authorize repair orders and track completion.
• Lead change toward better efficiency and communication.
