Job Description
Opportunity at a Glance

The Manager of Learning and Development oversees the development and delivery of training programs, supporting change management and strategic initiatives within the Training team. This role manages a team of Training Specialists involved in training facilitation and onboarding processes for enrollment and student success teams.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Training team, including senior and specialist trainers.
  • Evaluate, prioritize, and implement project requests considering resource availability and business priorities.
  • Oversee workflow, reallocating resources to meet deadlines and expectations.
  • Lead communication and change management efforts.
  • Assess training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Build relationships across departments to identify training needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and ensure policy compliance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred in Training, Instructional Design, or related fields.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in training, with instructional design focus.
  • At least 2 years supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Project management experience of 1+ years preferred.
  • Experience in higher education industry preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and knowledge of adult learning theories.
  • Proven track record in developing effective training programs and improving employee performance.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Additional Information

The salary range for this role is approximately $70,696 to $108,335, with actual pay based on experience, location, and other factors. Benefits include health insurance, 401k with employer match, paid holidays, and flexible time off. Participation in an annual incentive program is also available.
