El Paso Community College is seeking a senior leader to coordinate and direct the Instructional Service Center (ISC) staff across campuses, ensuring high-quality services and smooth daily operations. This role oversees inventory, scheduling, safety, and records while guiding budgeting and process improvements.
The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership, strong communication, and experience managing personnel, budgets, and standards across a multi-campus environment.
Provide coordination, leadership, and direction to Instructional Service Center (ISC) staff and users to ensure quality services. Provide supervisory resolution to all technical and staffing matters. Maintain departmental inventories and departmental records and reports. In-person work on campus is an essential function of this position.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the ISC department. Coordinate, establish priorities, delegate and provide supervision to multi-campus ISC staff. Assure all ISC equipment is maintained and operational. Maintain office safety and security, create staff work schedules. Participate in the development and recommendation of budget process. Implement and monitor fiscal year operating budget.
Maintain internal inventory control and distribution of all equipment, furniture, and supplies. Generate requisitions, manage and oversee open purchase orders for purchase of supplies and services. Participate in the development of departmental equipment and supply bids.
Provide personnel management direction and guidance to staff including training orientation, performance appraisal, professional development, coaching, and counseling. Participate in setting performance goals and priorities that contribute to departmental mission. Conduct and attend staff training seminars and workshops to enhance management, technology, and leadership skills.
Coordinate and delegate production of all records management services and maintain records. Responsible for generating department reports. Design and implement ISC brochures, departmental signs, and memoranda. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Out-of-town candidates invited for an on-campus interview will be reimbursed for one-half of the transportation cost for travel performed within the United States. The College will arrange and pay for up to two nights lodging.
