Job summary

Rocket Stores is seeking a Manager-In-Training to join our team in a full-time position. You will complete a structured training program under supervision and learn to manage daily store operations while ensuring a welcoming environment for customers and staff.

The role offers a 90‑day performance-based increase, referral bonuses, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and tuition reimbursement. Upon completion, opportunities to advance into Store Manager roles will arise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Supervisor, lead or assistant manager in retail or fast food.
• Ability to coach, train and develop your team to advance careers.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid, infraction-free Driver's License.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Must be able to provide work authorization in the United States if hired.
• Flexible to work varying shifts, including overnight and holidays.
• Ability to stand or walk for 8 hours.
• Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes.
• Occasionally push/pull up to 20 pounds with a hand-truck.
• Occasionally climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials or signage.
• Some locations may require comfort in small spaces.

Responsibilities

• Complete the training program under supervision of Store Manager.
• Learn to manage, direct and supervise daily store operations.
• Maintain a pleasant, courteous environment for customers and team members.
• On-the-job training with Store Manager/District Manager before transitioning to Store Manager role.
