Job summary

Rocket Stores is seeking a Manager-In-Training in Colorado Springs for a full-time role with benefits. The MIT will complete a structured training program under the Store Manager and learn to manage daily operations while delivering friendly service to customers.

The program emphasizes coaching, development, and progression to a Store Manager role, with job responsibilities including supervising a team, maintaining store standards, and handling diverse shift coverage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Supervisor, lead or assistant manager in a retail or fast food environment.
• Ability to coach, train and develop your team to the next level in their career.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid and infraction-free Driver's License
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
• Flexible to work varying shifts, including overnight shifts and holidays.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and move items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in directing daily store operations.
• Coach and supervise team, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Provide on-the-job training and development for staff.
• Maintain a pleasant and courteous environment for customers and team members.
