Job summary

Rocket Stores is seeking a Manager-In-Training for a full-time position with benefits. The MIT will undertake a structured training program under supervision of the Store Manager and learn to manage daily operations, while upholding customer and team expectations.

The role offers a 90-day performance-based increase, a referral bonus, comprehensive medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401K plan, and tuition reimbursement. On successful completion, MAT leads toward Store Manager responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory or assistant management experience in retail or fast food.
• Ability to coach, train and develop team to higher levels.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid, infraction-free US driver’s license.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Must provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
• Flexible to work varying shifts, including overnight shifts and holidays.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds, and push/pull up to 20 pounds.
• Comfortable in small spaces at times.

Responsibilities

• Complete training program under Store Manager supervision.
• Learn to manage, direct and supervise daily store operations.
• Maintain a pleasant environment for customers and team members.
• Work within United Pacific policies and procedures.
• Receive on-the-job training before transitioning into a Store Manager role.
