Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Manager of Radiology and Imaging Services to lead daily operations across imaging departments, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care. You will supervise staff, drive accreditation readiness, and maintain clinical competence while monitoring department finances.

This role requires a radiologic technology degree, current licensure and ARRT certification, plus a minimum of three years hospital experience with leadership preference.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Current state licensure in one of the diagnostic modalities required.
  • ARRT certification required.
  • Three years of hospital experience required.
  • Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of assigned imaging departments.
  • Provide leadership to department staff.
  • Ensure safe and quality patient care.
  • Ensure accreditation and regulatory compliance of modalities.
  • Ensure clinical competence of staff.
  • Maintain financial health of the department.

Manager - Radiology and Imaging Services

The Manager of Imaging Services is responsible for overseeing daily operations of assigned departments, providing leadership to department staff, and ensuring safe and quality patient care. This position is accountable for accreditation and regulatory compliance of assigned modalities, clinical competence of staff, and financial health of department.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology required. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • License/Certifications: Current state licensure in one of the diagnostic modalities required. ARRT certification required.
  • Experience: Three years of experience in a hospital setting required. Leadership experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $113,360.00to $153,379.20per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
