Join to apply for the Manager - Health Equity role at Stanford Health Care.

This is a full-time, day shift position (08 Hour) with hybrid work arrangements, located at 300 Pasteur Dr, Palo Alto, CA. The job involves overseeing large-scale strategic and cross-functional improvement programs in health equity, collaborating with leadership, clinical and operational teams, and engaging with community and employee groups to reduce disparities and promote patient-centered strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and evaluate the strategic plan for health equity across the organization.
  2. Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring engagement and accountability.
  3. Manage talent retention and workforce planning within the department.
  4. Partner with operations to identify leadership needs and facilitate strategic project changes.
  5. Act as liaison to management guidance teams on access, quality, and outcomes.
  6. Foster a team culture of safety, respect, and accountability.
  7. Manage project scope, timelines, and impact measurement using standard tools.
  8. Oversee health equity program design and development.
  9. Provide strategic input on business objectives related to health equity.
  10. Build relationships with departmental and external stakeholders.
  11. Maintain accurate project documentation and cost estimates.
  12. Lead and support team members effectively.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college.
  • At least five years of broad, extensive experience in administrative or managerial roles, including a minimum of three years in a managerial position.
Additional Information

Stanford Health Care values diversity and is committed to equal opportunity employment. The salary range is generally $68.46 - $90.70 per hour, based on experience and other factors. The role is classified as mid-senior level, full-time, within the healthcare industry.
