The Manager, Field Reimbursement Services is responsible for leading a team of field-based reimbursement managers and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a field reimbursement program sourced to McKesson by a pharmaceutical manufacturer client. The primary objective is to hire, develop, coach, evaluate, culture-build, and lead the reimbursement team to successfully engage specialty physician offices and support the manufacturer customer. Additional responsibilities include managing program operations such as staffing, profitability, SOPs, process design, implementation, and improvements. The role involves monitoring client SLA agreements to ensure compliance, making staffing and process adjustments as needed. This position supervises a nationwide team of remote-based direct reports, requiring activity monitoring, performance development, and extensive travel for training and ride-alongs. The role also involves regular interaction with client stakeholders, primarily with the head of Reimbursement Operations, and acts as a liaison within McKesson to various internal departments to ensure process synergy, training, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
