Job summary

Providence Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo, CA seeks a Facilities Supervisor to lead Engineering and Maintenance teams, ensuring safe, reliable operation of buildings, systems, and equipment.

You will coordinate maintenance and repair work, oversee preventative maintenance programs, participate in construction/remodel projects, maintain accurate records, and step in as acting Director when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Engineering and Maintenance staff.
• Coordinates activities for maintaining and repairing buildings, equipment, and utilities.
• Involved in construction/remodel projects to ensure integrity of all systems.
• Maintains and oversees preventative maintenance program with records.
• Assumes Director responsibilities in Director's absence.

Job description

Reports to Director of Facilities and is responsible for supervising both Engineering and Maintenance staff. Coordinates the activity necessary for maintaining and repairing all buildings, equipment, and utility systems. Involved in all construction and remodel projects to ensure integrity of all the systems within the hospital. Maintains and oversees the preventative maintenance program to ensure that all equipment is satisfactorily maintained in order to maximize its life and dependability, as well as ensuring complete and accurate records. Assumes responsibility of Director in his absence.
