Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a Senior Facilities Coordinator to plan, schedule, and allocate work in a timely manner within the facilities department. The role emphasizes data collection, reporting, and maintaining the work order system using a CMMS.

The position requires experience with computerized maintenance management applications and reporting, with focus on regulatory compliance and efficient maintenance operations in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience operating and managing computerized maintenance management applications or similar programs; and developing and generating reports from database applications.
• Experience with facility maintenance processes in an acute care hospital (implied in context)

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and allocate work in the department.
• Develop and maintain processes for collecting data and reporting the status of testing and maintenance activities.
• Manage and maintain the work order database and utilize CMMS to schedule, assign and monitor work as directed by the manager.
• Ensure compliance with standards set by regulatory agencies.

Senior Facilities Coordinator at Providence Portland Medical Center. This posting represents Full-Time, Day Schedule.

The Maintenance Planner works with the department manager and his/her designees to plan, schedule and allocate work in an equitable and timely manner. Develops and maintains processes for collecting data and reporting the status of testing and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with standards set by regulatory agencies. Assists the department manager and his/her designee in documenting quality of work and productivity of the assigned departments. Manages and maintains the work order database. Utilizes the computerized maintenance management program to schedule, assign and monitor work as directed by the manager or his/her designees.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Computer applications or Facility maintenance or 2 years of related work experience.

• 2 years' experience operating and managing computerized maintenance management applications or similar programs; and developing and generating reports from database applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with facility maintenance processes in an acute care hospital.

• Experience with Joint Commission Environment of Care Standards and Center for Medicare - Medicaid Services (CMS) Conditions of Participation.
