Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Facilities Engineering Supervisor at Mission Hospital Mission Viejo to lead Engineering and Maintenance staff and ensure reliable operation of buildings, equipment and utilities. The role oversees preventative maintenance, coordinates construction and remodel projects, and maintains accurate records while driving reliability and life-cycle planning.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• 3 years Supervisory experience.

Description

Reports to Director of Facilities and is responsible for supervising both Engineering and Maintenance staff. Coordinates the activity necessary for maintaining and repairing all buildings, equipment, and utility systems. Involved in all construction and remodel projects to ensure integrity of all the systems within the hospital. Maintains and oversees the preventative maintenance program to ensure that all equipment is satisfactorily maintained in order to maximize its life and dependability, as well as ensuring complete and accurate records. Assumes responsibility of Director in his absence.
