Overview

This position maintains the Providence Mount St. Vincent facility and supports Plant Operations policies and procedures. The position is responsible for maintaining the facility's mechanical and electrical equipment in good, safe, and working condition. This position responds to resident needs for equipment-related repairs.

Maintain facility mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation. Respond promptly to resident equipment repair needs following plant operations policies.

Required Qualifications
  • National Steam Engineer License Grade I, II, or III – State County City Trade License Authority
  • At least 3 years experience as an electrician, plumber, HVAC/R mechanic, or four years as a maintenance mechanic in building/facility maintenance with knowledge of electricity, plumbing, pneumatics, refrigeration, heating and venting systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industrial maintenance coursework; one year of school may substitute for one year of experience
  • One year of healthcare environment experience
