Job summary

Maine Medical Center in Maine is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the Facilities Management Department, ensuring safe, reliable environments for patients, visitors and staff. The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualified candidates have a post-secondary background in electrical or mechanical fields, a 4th class Stationary Engineers license, 3–5 years in healthcare settings, and solid MS Office skills.

Summary

The Facilities Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Facilities Management Department. The Facilities Manager is responsible for all activities related to Plant Operation, Routine Maintenance, Equipment, Utility, Life Safety, and overall Safety, in order to maintain a safe, reliable Environment of Care for Patients, Visitors and Staff. The successful employee will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform job duties in a safe, professional manner.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: Post-secondary education in electrical or mechanical field or equivalent experience required.
  • License/Certifications: 4th class Stationary Engineers License required. Valid Maine Driver’s license.

The pay range for this position is $83,324.80to $112,736.00per year.
