Job summary

Franklin Templeton, based in Saint Petersburg, FL, is seeking an experienced Facilities leader to manage daily operations across owned and leased properties in an onsite role. The position requires 10+ years in facilities or real estate management and a relevant certification.

You will oversee life-safety, engineering, and maintenance services, manage a $16M+ budget, and lead cost-saving initiatives while coordinating leasing and vendor performance. Occasional travel to the Southeast is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent extensive experience.
  • 10+ years of facilities or real estate management experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • CFM or CPM designation.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure custodial, life-safety, engineering, and maintenance services meet standards.
  • Manage a capital and operating budget exceeding $16M.
  • Approve transactions up to $100K.

  • Coordinate leasing, tenant improvements, and chargebacks.
  • Support facilities across the Southeast Region, with occasional travel.

This is an ONSITE position requiring 5 days per week in our St. Petersburg, FL office.

About The Department

The Corporate Real Estate & Facilities team manages Franklin Templeton’s global office portfolio to ensure safe, functional, and welcoming workplaces. The team partners closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support daily operations, collaboration, and innovation. How You Will Add Value

Experience, Education & Certifications
WHAT WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent extensive experience.
  • 10+ years of facilities or real estate management experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of construction, engineering, or architectural principles.
  • Experience with facilities management systems and tools.
Soft Skills
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential matters.
  • Ability to travel on occasion as required.
