Job summary

Franklin Templeton is seeking a facilities and maintenance professional to join our on-site team in Rancho Cordova, CA. You will maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems, manage vendors, and support a five-building campus and warehouse operations.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, rapid response to work orders, and collaboration with internal teams to keep facilities running smoothly. A customer-service mindset and strong problem-solving are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of facilities and maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of building HVAC systems.
• Basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing and safety controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC/mechanical, electrical, plumbing, door hardware, and automated building systems.
• Schedule preventive maintenance, address customer needs via work orders, and handle corrective actions to repair equipment.
• Manage and partner with vendors, overseeing services to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Build and reconfigure modular cubicles and assist Records with warehouse box retrieval.

This is an ON-SITE position requiring 5 days per week in our Rancho Cordova, CA office.

Corporate Real Estate and Facilities ensure that our owned and leased offices are inviting and engaging to our clients and over nine thousand Franklin Templeton (FT) employees across the globe. We keep day-to-day operations running smoothly and enable collaboration and innovation by supporting on-site services and a dynamic work environment. We build and maintain strong internal and external relationships essential to supporting the success of our operations.

How You Will Add Value

• You will be an integral part of a small and dynamic team focused on maintaining a site that includes five buildings and a warehouse, ensuring the buildings and employees are well taken care of.
• You will perform both preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC/mechanical, electrical, plumbing, door hardware, and automated building systems.
• Your day-to-day work revolves around scheduled preventative maintenance, promptly addressing customer needs submitted via work order, and efficiently handling corrective actions to repair equipment.
• You will effectively manage and actively partner with vendors and oversee vendors responsible for providing services to the building to ensure both timely and high-quality service delivery.
• You will build and reconfigure modular cubicles and assist the Records department with warehouse box retrieval.

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role

• 3-5 years of relevant facilities and maintenance experience

Technical Skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of building HVAC systems and components ideal.
• General knowledge of electric and plumbing systems and safety controls such as fire and security systems preferred but not required.

Soft Skills

• Can-do, customer service attitude and ability to partner/interface well with others at all levels.
